Last date for fee payment – 13th October, 2016
Closure of Online Application – 13th October, 2016.
Correction and modification permitted via email till – 28th October, 2016.
Admit Card Download – 10th January 2017 [RELEASED]
Submission of Application Form for Admission on the JAM 2017 Website – 12th April-25th April, 2017.
Exam Date – 12th February, 2017
Result Announcement – 27th March, 2017
Last date for receipt of request for change of category along with valid documents in proper format at IIT Delhi – 10th May, 2017
Declaration of first admission list – 2nd June, 2017
Declaration of second admission list – 20th June, 2017
Declaration of third admission list and conclusion of admission process – 3rd July, 2017.
As you all know, Joint Admission Test is conducted for those brilliant students who outstand themselves to pursue M.Sc. or Integrated Ph.D or other PG courses from IIT’s and IISc.
The exam is conducted in seven subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Biotechnology and Biological Science. Each paper has to be completed in 3 hours’ time duration.
*Note - A candidate can appear in either one or two test papers subject to the restrictions of test schedule given below and by paying an additional fee for the second test paper.
Those who qualify JAM 2017, will be eligible to join PG programs at Institutes given below-

2. Mode of Fee Payment
The application fee can be paid either online or through e-challan (additional transaction charges may apply). In case, a candidate chooses to pay through e-challan, then the payment should be made in cash at any branch of the bank mentioned in the e-challan latest by October 6,2016.
The candidates must obtain at least 55% aggregate marks without rounding off (for General/ OBC (NCL) Category candidates) and at least 50% aggregate marks without rounding off (for SC/ ST and PwD Category candidates) in the qualifying degree.
