National Institute of Technology (NITs) is always the second choice for students who want to get admission for MSc after JAM 2021.
There are many courses provided by NITs for MSc in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. These NITs have lenient admission eligibility criteria than IITs. So, BTech, BSc general, and Hons. students are eligible for MSc Admissions through Joint Admission Test.

Every year, CCMN releases the NITs Admission Eligibility Criteria for IIT JAM Qualified students. According to the 2021 notification, candidates should have: 
Valid JAM Score Card of the year 2021.
The candidates must have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% for GEN/GENEWS/OBC, whereas 6.0 CGPA or 55% in case of SC/ST/PwD.
If your result of qualifying degree is awaited, then provisional admission is permitted for your subject and minimum qualifying degree requirements latest by 30^{th} September 2021.

This year, total 1922 seats are available in 22 institutes (20 NITs and 2 CFTI) for MSc.
