Nobel Prize Money- Know the Details of How Much Money Does the Winners Get!

 

 

The Nobel Prize Winner receives an 18-karat gold medal and a cheque of nearly $1 million. The amount of the Nobel Prize Money depends on how much money the Nobel Foundation is awarding each year.

 

In 2017, the Nobel Prize amount is set at Swedish kronor (SEK) 9.0 million per full Nobel Prize. In case a Nobel Prize is shared (between two winners), the committee can either divide the prize money equally or if there are three recipients then the money can be divided equally between the three or one-half to one winner and the other half equally between the other two.

 

The 9 million Swedish Kronor prize money will be INR 72,227,297.37 (INR Seven Crore twenty-two lakh twenty-seven thousand two hundred and ninety-seven and thirty-seven paise) in Indian currency.
