SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern – Grab Details!
While appearing for the SBI PO Recruitment Exam, Candidates are assigned a desktop with all the general instructions for the exam. After that, candidates need to answer all the questions on the screen one by one.
There are three sections in the SBI PO Prelims exam, i.e., English Language, Quantitative Ability, and Reasoning Ability.

The SBI PO Mains Pattern is subdivided into two levels, i.e., Objective Test and Descriptive Test.

SBI PO Mains Level – 1: Objective Test
As per SBI PO Mains Pattern 2022, there are four sections in the SBI PO Mains exam, i.e., Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, and English Language.

SBI PO Mains Level – 2: Descriptive Test
The Descriptive Test will be conducted in 30 minutes duration. This exam is organized to evaluate candidates’ Letter Writing & Essay Writing abilities.
According to the SBI PO Mains Pattern, there is a total of 2 questions for every 25 marks in the descriptive test.
Note: Candidates’ descriptive test will only be checked if they qualify in the Objective Test, as determined by the Bank's qualification marks.
SBI PO Group Exercise & Interview: Explore Phase - 3 details!
Aspirants who qualify in both phases, i.e., prelims and mains, become eligible for round 3, i.e., GD & Interview.
The aggregate marks are arranged in descending order for all the qualified applicants in each category. After qualifying, they are being called for the group exercises and interview.
The marks that are decided for the Group Exercise round is 20 and for the Interview is 30.

Final Selection Process for SBI PO Exam
The exam authority keeps the following points in mind while calculating the final score of the SBI PO exam.
For selection, marks secured in the SBI PO prelims exam (Phase-1) will not be regarded for the final merit list. Candidates need to qualify for Phase 2 and 3 separately to become eligible.
The marks secured in Mains and Group Exercises & Interview will be normalized to 100 in the following manner –
