1. Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students
The Human Resources Development Ministry's Department of Higher Education provides this fellowship named as Central Sector Scheme for Top Colleges and Universities Students.
80 percentiles in 12th Class
Family income must be lower than INR 8 lakh per annum
Amount – INR 10,000 per academic year
Total Seat - 82,000
2. Combined Counselling Board Scholarship for Professional Courses
Combined Counselling Board (CCB) also provides the medical scholarship named as Combined Counselling Board Scholarship. Candidates who aspire, can apply online on the CCB's website. It will opens in July month (tentatively).
It covers the hostel fee of the entire medical course.
To avail it, the aspirants must have –
Minimum 40-50% (depending on the medical course) in class 12 or an equivalent.
Hold the required degree according to their courses.
Amount – Up to INR 4 Lakh.
Total Seat - CCB reserves 10% -20% of seats in various courses and branches of India's leading institutes.
3. BHEL-FAEA Scholarships
BHEL-FAEA Fellowship is offered by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) to candidates from socially and economically weaker backgrounds in the category of BPL who are pursuing graduation.
Amount – It covers tuition fee, maintenance fee, books allowance, travel allowance, clothing allowance and miscellaneous allowance.
4. Vahani Scholarship
Vahani is a non-profit organization which provides the Vahani Scholarship for the under graduated medical students who belong to economically weaker background.
To give this fellowship, candidates are selected based on academic excellence, consistency & application quality, and economic hardships.
Amount – It covers full tuition fee, accommodation, a tablet.
Total Seat – 20 per year.
5. The All India Pre-Medical Scholarship Test (AIPMST)
Students who wish to pursue medicine may also take advantage of scholarships through the All India Pre-Medical Scholarship Test (AIPMST) which is provided by Brainztorm Technical Excellence.
Candidates can apply online in March (tentatively) for this fellowship.
Minimum 60% in 12th class
While applying for the exam, applicant must not be over 26 years in age.
Amount – Give up to full tuition fee waiver.
6. Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test (NEST Senior)
SEMCI India and Students’ Unity Foundation of India organizes Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test to provide the scholarships for medical students.
To avail it, the aspirants must –
Students of MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BDS and class 12 (Science stream) for ‘Senior I’ category.
3rd and 4th year students for ‘Senior II’ category.
Enrolled in the in colleges / universities and appearing in the final examinations of the current academic year.
Students can apply online for NEST Senior scholarship.
Amount – Tuition fee with the maximum ceiling of INR 50,000
7. Bharati Scheme for Education (BSE) Andhra Pradesh
This scholarship provided by the Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation.
To avail it, the aspirants must –
Aspirants' parents must belong to Brahmin community living in Andhra Pradesh.
All the subjects must be passed, till the last year of study by the students.
Family income must be lower than INR 3 lakh per annum.
No other scholarship benefit must be used by the applicant, except for the benefits of the Archaka Welfare Trust.

8. Dr. Shamanur Shivashankarappa Janakalyana Trust’s Scholarship Program
This fellowship is awarded by the Dr. Shamanur Shivashankarappa Janakalyana Trust.

Residents of Karnataka
Family income must not be higher than INR 1 lakh per annum.
Regular students at reputed institutes.

9. International Medical Scholarship Eligibility Test (IM-SET)
The provider of IM Scholarship is American University of Barbados (AUB), School of Medicine. AUB conducts International Medical Scholarship Eligibility Test for medical aspirants of Indian origin.
Aspirants have to apply online for this fellowship.
To avail it, the aspirants must –
Students of Class 12 or Class 12 pass-outs from Private, Government and Govt.-Aided schools of any medium and any Board, in Indian Territory.
Students of schools outside India affiliated to CBSE Board only.

Category I (For IM-SET Top Performers):
100% tuition fee for the medical courses to three highest scoring students in IM-SET and have at least 70% and aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology in class 12.

10. All India Youth Scholarship Entrance Examination (AIYSEE)
AIYSEE is one of the most trusted and recognized scholarship programs in India which is provided by an organization which is registered under the Ministry of finance.
Aspirants can apply online in February.
To avail it, the aspirants must –
Passed or appearing class 12
appear in medical or technical examinations can apply.

11. Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship
This fellowship is provided by the Government of West Bengal. Aspirants can apply through West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation’ s online application page in the January month.

West Bengal’s domicile and studying in West Bengal also.
Have minimum 75% in 12th class (including two language subjects on five subjects).
Family income must not exceed INR 2.5 lakh per annum.

12. Swami Dayanand Education Foundation Merit-cum-Means Scholarships
Swami Dayanand Education Foundation provides this fellowship. Students can apply for this scholarship in August in online and offline both modes.
Aspirants must be pursuing for MBBS, Pharmacy, Engineering, IT or Architecture from india’s government or private institutions.
Applicants must be taken admission to the required course after passing a competitive exam organized by the Central / State board.
Have minimum 75% in 12th class or 7.5 average grade points in 10 point scale system.
Family income must be less than or equal INR 6 Lakh per annum.
Not be a recipient of any other fellowship.

13. Sikh Human Development Foundation (SHDF) Scholarships
Nishkam Sikh Welfare Council, New Delhi and Sikh Human Development Foundation, U.S.A. provides the SHDF scholarships. Aspirants can apply offline in August from the Nishkam Sikh Welfare Council website after downloading the application form.
Applicants must be passed 12th or graduate.
Have minimum 60% in previous two examinations.
Family income must be less than or equal to INR 1.8 lakhs per annum.
Amount - Up to INR 30,000.
14. Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship (JBNSTS)
JBNSTS fellowship is provided by the Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS), Kolkata. Candidates can apply online or offline from the website of JBNSTS in July.
To avail it, the aspirants must –
The scholarship is only available for girl aspirants.
Applicants must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam and have to pursue a degree program such as medical / engineering / B.Sc. (Hons).
Candidates’ institute must be enrolled in West Bengal.
Amount – INR 3000 per month apart from DST-INSPIRE scholarship of worth 80,000 per annum and annual book grant of INR 2000.
15. L’Oréal India Scholarship
L’Oréal India sponsors this scholarship for girls only. Candidates can apply only for this through their official website in July.
To avail it, the aspirants must –
Applicants must have passed 12th class with minimum 85% in PCM & PCB.
Aspirants must have been admitted to the undergraduate course in the current academic year.
Applicants’ age must not be more than 19 years.
Family income must be less than or equal to INR 4 Lakh per annum.
The applicant must be prepared to undertake medical / engineering / science / biotechnology research or any other field of science.

16. Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Scheme
The sponsor of Nirankari Rajmata Scholarship Scheme is Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation. Aspirants can apply offline in September from the website of Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation after downloading the application form.
To avail it, the aspirants must –
Have minimum 75% in the 12th class.
Family income must be less than or equal to INR 3.5 Lakh per annum.
The applicants must be a regular student of an institution / college recognized by the state where they are admitted by a competitive written exam.
The candidates must be pursuing in such disciplines medicine/ engineering/ MBA/ CA-CPT/ CFA/ LLB/ Architecture.

This scholarship for medical students in India is sponsored by G.P. Birla Educational Foundation for Indian nationals.
