List of Essentials for NEET 2021 Online Application
Candidates will be required to provide the following information during the registration process. You must keep these details ready while filling the registration form.
Details of 10th, 12th Marksheet (Scores, Roll Number etc.)
Govt. Approved Identity Card Number
Mobile Number
Email ID
Debit/ Credit Card Number and Pin/ E-wallet, Net Banking or UPI Credential
Note - The candidates are advised to ensure that their ID cards (Aadhar, license etc.) have correct details of their Name, Date of Birth and Gender as per school records.
How to Apply for NEET 2021 Exam? Complete Procedure
You must check the NEET Eligibility Criteria before you fill the exam form. If you satisfy all the requirements, you can fill the form in 4 easy steps as given below and complete the registration process.
Step 1 - NEET 2021 Registration
The very first step is to generate registration number and password as given below:
Visit the official website of NTA NEET.
Read all the instructions carefully and click on "Proceed to Apply Online NEET (UG) - 2021" (To be activated soon) button.
Fill the basic details and click on “Preview & Next” button.
Create a password, security question and and after final verification through OTP, submit it.
After this, you will receive Registration Number and Password for future reference on your registered Mobile Number and Email ID.
Note - If you do not receive the Candidate Login credential, then contact the Official Helpline.
Step 2 - Apply Online
After successful registration, candidates are required to complete the remaining procedure of NEET Application.
Sign in and fill the required information such as personal details, medium of the questions, choice of NEET Exam Centre and click on “Next” button.
Now, provide your academic details and click on the “Next” button.
Now, provide your residential address, details of parents, dress code, security pin and click on the “Preview and Submit” button.
Step 3 - Upload Scanned Photo and Signature
In this step you will have to upload your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, 10th certificate and post card size photograph. After submitting all the documents click on the “Next” button.
Important Note - According to the official notification, they should be in JPG/JPEG format only and their size should match the prescribed size.
Passport Size Photo between 10Kb to 200Kb
Post Card Size Photo between 10Kb to 200Kb
Signature - Size should be between 4Kb to 30Kb
Left hand thumb impression - Size should be between 10Kb to 200Kb
Class X Passing Certificate - Size should be between 50Kb to 300Kb
Category/PwBD Certificate (if applicable) - Size should be between 50Kb to 300Kb
The signature must be in running handwriting. Full name written in the capital letters will not be accepted.
Once you are done, you will be forwarded to the next step which is NEET Exam Fees Payment page.
Step 4 - Make Payment
In this step, The candidate will have to make a choice of his/her payment method. After which, he/she will be redirected to the Payment Gateway, where the amount of Fee will be processed.
Candidates can submit the Online NEET Application Form Fees using:
Credit Card/Debit Card.
Net Banking/UPI.
E-wallet
NEET Registration Fees 2021
The online application fee for the different category candidates is given below:
For General/UR: 1500 INR
For General-EWS/OBC-NCL: 1400 INR
For ST/SC/PwD/Transgender: 800 INR
Important Note - Payment through Offline mode will not be accepted. Do not send any Demand Draft, Cheque or Cash to NTA. If you paid the fee twice, then NTA will automatically refund the extra amount after verification. NEET Application Fees will not be refunded in any circumstances.
After finishing the fees payment process, your registration will be successfully completed.
Candidates must take a printout of following documents:
Confirmation page of online Application
Proof of fee paid
6-8 copies of the photogrph uploded in the online application
system generated self declaration in respect of candidates from J&K who have opted for seates under 15% All India Quota.
Note –
Candidates should keep all these documents safe until they get admission in College or Institution.
Only those candidates who will successfully complete the registration process are issued the NEET Admit Card.
NTA NEET Correction Form 2021
While filling the application form, candidates may make some mistakes. To correct the information, NTA provides another chance to correct the information after one week of closing of registration. NEET Correction process was started from 8th August 2021. Candidates were able to make corrections in their form till 12th August 2021.

What are the Reasons for NEET 2021 Application Form Rejection?
The form once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Therefore, fill the NEET UG 2021 Application very carefully.

Ans - Yes, NTA provides a chance to modify the information in Application Form through the correction window.
Que 2 – Which details can we edit through correction window?
Ans – The candidates can make correction in personal information, place of birth, the medium of question paper, choice of exam cities, academic details, address, parent’s name etc.
Ques 3 - If i forget my NEET registration number then How can I retrieve it?
Ans - If you forget the login details, you can retrieve it through the “Forgot Registration Number” option on official page. You can authenticate your identity providing your name, mother's name, father's name, DOB, category and security pin.
After submitting all the details correctly, you will be provided your NEET Application number.
Que 4 - Is it compulsory to have a white background with name and date at the bottom in passport photo?
Ans – As per the latest notification, white background with name and date at the bottom are not compulsory. Photos without them can be upload in the NEET application form.
