The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2018 (UG) will be held on 6th May 2018. It will be held in a single stage CBT and would be an objective type test. CBSE has announced that from 2018 onward, only one set of question paper will be given to all students appearing in the exam which will be translated in 11 vernacular languages.

 

 The official CBSE NEET 2018 Notification was released on the 8th February 2018.

 

 NEET Online Application Form will be released in the last week of January 2018. You can fill and submit only one application at a time. The forms were released on 8th Feb 2018.

 

 CBSE NEET 2018 Registration has been extended from 9th March 2018 to 12th March 2018. The extended deadline to submit online registration fees is 13th  March 2018.

 

 NEET 2018 Correction Form will be available from 15th to17th March 2018.

 

 CBSE has released NEET 2018 Admit Cards on 17th April 2018. But the candidates from Open Schools or Private Candidates will presently not be able to download their NEET Admit Cards. After the Court’s final decision, the CBSE will take further action in this case.

 

 The Candidates can check the NEET Answer Key, Images of their OMR Sheet and Responses and the Test Booklet Code by logging into their account using their Registration No. and Password on NEET website from 25th May to 27th May 2018.

 

 NEET 2018 Result will be declared on 5th June 2018.

 

 The admission process for NEET UG will be monitored by newly constituted National Medical Commission. Owing to the serious allegation on Medical Council of India(MCI), Government of India has replaced it with NMC in 2018.

 

After Court’s intervention, candidates who have passed 10+2 from Open Schools or as Private candidates will be eligible to appear in National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam. Furthermore, the study of Biology/Biotechnology as an additional subject at 10+2 level is also made permissible.

 

 

Every year, more than 2.5 lakh students register for NIOS. In the year 2017, nearly 3,000 students from NIOS appeared for the medical entance exam, out of which 864 even qualified the exam successfully.

 

 

Union Budget 2018 proposed setting up 24 new medical colleges to bridge the gap between medical aspirants and quality education. The government aims to set up at least one medical college for three parliamentary constituencies.

 

NEET Score Card 2018 will be considered valid for getting admission in Ayush Courses(Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani and Homoeopathy). NEET is also mandatory for studying medicine abroad.

 

  Candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be eligible for 18% All India Quota Seats.

      You can appear in NEET 2018 Exam. The date of birth between 7th May 1988 – 1st January 2002(Reserved Category) will be considered valid for NEET Exam.
