NEET Notification 2020 - Latest Updates and News!

 

NTA has released a circular regarding the important dates for NEET 2020 Exam on 21st August 2019. Below you can check the latest NEET 2020 Notification, news and other important updates to keep yourself updated with all the events related to the exam.

 

NEET Application Form process will start from 2nd December 2019 and will end on 31st December 2019.

 

 NEET 2020 Exam will be conducted on 03rd May 2020.

 

NTA will release the NEET Admit Card on 27th March 2020.

 

National Testing Agency will declare the NEET Result on 04th June 2020.

 

 The Candidates can check the NEET Answer Key, Images of their OMR Sheet and Responses and the Test Booklet Code by logging into their account using their Registration No. and Password on NEET website within a week after the exam.

NEET Score Card 2020 will be considered valid for getting admission in AYUSH Courses (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani and Homoeopathy). NEET is also mandatory for studying medicine abroad.

 The photograph can also be accepted without Name and Date and white background. The application form will not be rejected in this case.

Changes Done by the NTA for NEET 2019

According to the NEET Notification 2019, the question paper was same for all the sets in the languages. However, all the regional language question papers was be bilingual. Like CBSE, NTA is also expected to continue the rule that in case of any discrepancy in the translations, the English version of the question would be considered final.

 Till2018, aspirants had a total of 3 attempts to appear for the exam. However, as per the NEET latest news, there is no cap on the number of attempts for NEET.

 As per the recent update, HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar said that "students would not have to travel outside their state for appearing in NEET from next year as more centres would be set up based on the requirement".

According to the NEET Notification 2019, candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats.

 As per the NEET UG 2019 Information Bulletin, NIOS or State Open School or private candidates’ are not eligible to NEET exam.

NEET Latest News Regarding Aadhaar Card (Unique ID proof)

 

As per the NEET latest news, Aadhar Card is not compulsory to fill the NEET Registration Form. Now candidates can apply with any ID proof for the Exam.

BUT -

 

 Use of Aadhaar will help in attaining more accuracy in applicants’ details.

  By this, the applicants can be easily identified at the NEET Exam Centres.

If applied with Aadhaar, the applicants need not bring multiple documents to prove their identities.

    Sir, i have gone to phillipine to do MBBS in 2017 and in the month of June 2018 i will be enroll for MD (MBBS) so is it compulsory for me to attend Neet or not please advice me.

    i have joined BS in 2017 but in MBBS i am going to enrolled in June 2018 after completion of BS. there is BS course in i.e premed for MBBS in Philippine, we have pass this first then i can enroll in Medicine.
