NTA NEET 2019 Latest News – What are the Upcoming Notifications?

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2019 (UG) will be held once in a year. It will be held in a single stage CBT and would be an Pen and Paper based mode.


 The official NEET exam schedule 2019 has been released on 21st August 2018.


 NEET Online Application Form has been released from 1st November 2018. You can fill and submit only one NEET Online Application at a time.


 NEET Correction Form will be available from December 2018.


 NTA has released NEET 2019 Admit Cards on 15th April 2019.


 The Candidates can check the NEET Answer Key, Images of their OMR Sheet and Responses and the Test Booklet Code by logging into their account using their Registration No. and Password on NEET website within a week after exam


 NEET Result will be declared on 5th June 2019.


NEET Score Card 2019 will be considered valid for getting admission in Ayush Courses (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani and Homoeopathy). NEET is also mandatory for studying medicine abroad.

What’s New and Latest Notification on NEET 2019!


NEET Notification 2019 will be released by the NTA which includes all NEET News regarding the application process, admit card release, exam date, and result declaration date.

 NTA has not announced any change in syllabus, fees, or language for NEET 2019 yet.


 Exam will utilize IT software and encryption i.e. highly secured to ensure timely delivery of the tests.

 NTA will set up 3,000 practice centres for NEET Exam from August 2018 & candidates will get around an hour to practice. It will function on Saturdays and Sundays.

 The candidates need to apply for the exam via “online” mode only.


 According to the NEET UG 2019 Information Bulletin, NEET 2019 Examination will be conducted by the NTA once in a year.


 Till last year, aspirants had a total of 3 attempts to appear for the exam. However, as per the latest updates, there is no cap on the number of attempts for NEET.


 As per the recent update, HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar said that “students would not have to travel outside their state for appearing in NEET from next year as more centres would be set up based on the requirement”.


 Candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats.


 As per the NEET UG 2019 Information Bulletin, NIOS or State Open School or private candidates’ are not eligible to NEET exam.

NEET 2019 Latest News Regarding Aadhaar Card (Unique ID proof)



As per the latest news, Aadhar Card is not compulsory to fill the NEET Registration Form. Now candidates can apply with any ID proof for the Exam.



 Use of Aadhaar will help in attaining more accuracy in applicants’ details.


  By this, the applicants can be easily identified at the NEET Exam Centres.


  If applied with Aadhaar, the applicants need not bring multiple documents to prove their identities.
