SSC Stenographer 2022 Notification- Mark these Important Dates

SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2022 result for skill test has released on 7th April 2022 for shortlisting candidates for document verification.

As per the latest update, SSC has released the expected date of the SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Exam 2019 Skill Test as 3rd March 2022.

According to the latest notification, the Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D Final Answer Key has released on 28th January 2022. The candidates may take a printout of their Final Answer Key(s) along with respective Question Paper(s) till 27th February 2022 from the official website.

SSC has declared the Result of Computer Based Examination to call candidates for appearing in Skill Test on 21st January 2022.

SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria

 

The Staff Selection Commission has fixed some factors on which they decide whether a candidate is eligible or not for the exam.

So, below are all the factors on which the SSC Stenographer Eligibility is decided:

1. Nationality

 

A candidate must be either:

(a) a citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, to permanently settle in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

 

 

2. Age Limit

 

For Stenographer Grade ‘C’: The minimum age for a candidate to give the exam is 18 and the maximum age is 30 years as of 01st January 2020.

For Stenographer Grade ‘D’: The minimum age for a candidate to give the exam is 18 and the maximum age is 27 years as of 01st January 2020.

3. Educational Qualification

 

Candidates who are appearing or have passed the 12th class or equivalent exam from a recognized Board or University are eligible to give the SSC Stenographer Exam.

 

 

SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2022 Process

 

After getting aware of the complete eligibility criteria, you should check the selection process of the SSC Stenographer.

The process of SSC Stenographer Recruitment consists of two phases: Computer Based Examination and Skill Test.

 

 

Phase 1: Computer Based Examination

 

In the first phase, Eligible candidates will be called for the Computer Based Examination. In this stage, the candidates have to answer the Multiple Choice Questions. Based on the marks obtained in the Computer Based Exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test.

 

 

Phase 2: Skill Test

 

After clearing the Computer Based Examination you will have to appear in the Skill Test. In this test, you have to transcribe the matter on a computer.

The final selection will be based on the performance of candidates in Computer Based Examination and the preference of Posts/ Departments opted by them during Document Verification.
