Detailed Periodic Table - Elements divided into Blocks
Periodic Table is very important chapter. Every year 2-3 questions are asked from this topic in CBSE, IIT JEE, IIT JAM, NEET and other Science Exams.
Periodic Table Quick Facts (Mendeleev Periodic Table)
Dmitri Mendeleev, a Russian chemist, is considered the "father" of the periodic table. The table is also known as Mendeleev Periodic Table.
The Periodic Table consists of names, symbols, atomic numbers, and atomic weight of the element.
The table is arranged in two manners that, elements within each vertical column are similar or have something in common are called Groups where elements in one period have a same number of electron shells forms.
Metals reside on the left side of the table, while non-metals reside on the right.
There are 118 confirmed elements in the periodic table. Among those, 90 elements can be found in nature, others are man-made.

What are the Acronyms and Acrostics??
Acronyms and acrostics are ‘first letter Mnemonics’.
Acronyms chunk words together, which is good (even if they are nonsense), and acrostics give more meaning to the sentence. Here is the example which helps you to understand:
United States of America is often written as the USA. That’s an acronym.
Now! Let’s start some fun, interesting mnemonics in Hindi and English to memorize elements along each group or period.
However, you don’t need to memorize the synthetic elements, which are the elements from atomic numbers 104 to 118.

Detailed Periodic Table - Elements divided into Blocks
The elements in the periodic table are divided into major four-block according to the number of electrons in the last shell. Let's have a look at detailed information for elements of each block as following-
s-block Periodic Table Elements
If the periodic table were a city, the s-block would be a small neighborhood filled with similar houses and properties. The s-block is located to the far left and consists of two groups.
Group 1 is known as Alkali Metals. It includes Lithium (Li), Sodium (Na), Potassium (K), Rubidium (Ru), Caesium (Cs), and Francium (Fr).
To memorize this group, we use a sentence –
HighlyNaive Kids Rub Cat’s Fur
HaLiNa K Rb Csey Fryad
Group 2 is known as Alkaline Earth Metals. It includes Beryllium (Be), Magnesium (Mg), Calcium (Ca), Strontium (Sr), Barium (Br), and Radium (Ra).
Mnemonic for Group 2:
Beta Mange Car Scooter Baap Rone se Raazi
Beta Mange (Mg) Car Scoter (Sr) Bap Razi (Ra)
Beena (and) Meghna Came Straight Back Rapidly
Read the basic concept of periodic table for detailed information of each element & its classification.
Periodic Table p block Elements
Come on a tour of the p-block, an area on the periodic table filled with an incredibly diverse group of elements. It includes elements from the six columns beginning with column 13 and ending with column 18.
Group 13 is known as Boron Group. It includes Boron (B), Aluminium (Al), Gallium (Ga), Indium (In), and Thallium (Tl).
Mnemonic of Group 13:
B A G I T
Began, Aaloo, Gajar In Thela
Babar Ali Gallani Indian They (Tl)
Group 14 is known as the Carbon Group. It includes Carbon (C), Silicon (Si), Germanium (Ge), Tin (Sn), and Lead (Pb).
Mnemonic for Group 14:
Chemistry Sir Gives Sanki Problems
Che Sita Ge Suno Prbhu
Chale Shiv Ge Sang Parbati
Cute Sisters Get Small (TINy) Problems
Chemistry Sir Gaye Sunday Pub Main
Group 15 is known as the Nitrogen Group. It consists of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), Arsenic (As), Antimony (Sb), and Bismuth (Bi).
Mnemonic for Group 15:
Nahi Pasand Aise Sab Bhai
Nahi Pyaare Aise Sab Bigad Jaayega
Nana Patekar Aishwariya SaB Bikhari
New Police Assigns Subordinate Bikram on duty

Group 16 is known as Oxygen Group. It includes Oxygen (O), Sulphur (S), Selenium (Se), Tellurium (Te), and the radioactive element Polonium (Po).
Group 16 mnemonic are:
Oh! Style Se Tel Polish Ker
Oh, Seema Sent The Post

Noble gases, excluding Helium. Normally, they are all odorless and colorless gases with very low chemical reactivity.
Periodic Table d-block Elements
Let’s take you to the tour of d-block elements. D-block elements occupy the space between the s-block and p-block in the periodic table.
It includes elements consist of element groups 3 to 12. Groups 3 to 11 are also known as transitional metals. Group 12 elements, which have its d subshell completely filled, are also known as post-transition elements.
Period 4 elements includes are Scandium (Sc), Titanium (Ti), Vanadium (V), Chromium (Cr), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Cobalt (Co), Nickel (Ni), Copper (Cu) and Zinc (Zn).
Mnemonic for Period 4:

Science Ti(ea)cher Vineeta Criplani Man Fenko (FeCo) Ni Kyun (Cu) Zaan hai?
Read as: Science Teacher Vineeta Kriplani manfenko ni kyun zaan hai?
Period 5 includes are Yttrium (Y), Zirconium (Zr), Niobium (Nb), Molybdenum (Mo), Technetium (Tc), Ruthenium (Ru), Rhodium (Rh), Pd (Palladium), Silver (Ag) and Cadmium (Cd).
Mnemonic for Period 5:
