For those who seek ways to get into this college through AFMC Admission, must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
The candidate must be an Indian Citizen or originally from Nepal or Bhutan or a person originated from Pakistan or any other foreign country with the intention of permanently settling in India.

The Exit Bond: For students who are not sure what they want to do in life after MBBS, this might be a threat for their dream of pursuing AFMC MBBS. One has to sign the notorious bond of INR 25 Lakh to join AFMC which states that you have to serve in the forces for a minimum period of 14 years (Short Service Commission) and 20 years (Permanent Commission).
For Post-Graduate and Super-Specialty candidates, the exit bond money is INR 28 lakh.
From college’s perspective, the bond is because of the expenditure and time that the college has invested in you to serve armed forces.

Discipline: Discipline is one of the various qualities for which the Armed Forces are famous for. So, you can expect that you have to maintain discipline in the college as well. In AFMC Pune, you will have to attend P.T, Parade etc. and boys have to shave every day.
Vacations are twice a year for 15-20 days each. Leave can be availed at any time but only for genuine reasons. After all, you are a medical cadet. With great power comes great responsibility.
