My name is ravindra n i m currently pursuing my B tech civil from parul university baroda, i want to appear for IIT JAM physics exam.... n they want physics as ur subject for 2 years.... Bt as per my details... I m studied the physics part as my subjects like in 3rd sem i study fluid mechanics-1, adavance mechanics of solids, and in 4th sem is studied fluid mechanics - 2 and geotech also... Course rigor is the same for both Btech and BSc... It's a myth in India that engineering is harder than BSc. The knowledge depth in BSc is far more than that in Btech BSc being a fundamental sciences Degree. While the practical knowledge of Btech is a bit higher than BSc. The only difference in Btech and BSc is that the length of the degree and nothing else and that too is forced upon university to keep BSc as a 3 years degree otherwise universities are eager to convert BSc to a 4 year degree course. Rigor in theoretical part of BSc is overwhelming when compared to Btech and the topics or subjects in BSc are mostly abstract and unimaginable by humans as far as BSc physics and BSc maths is concerned they are highly theoretical, mathematical and highly abstract. So Btech is much easier than BSc when the theoretical part is taken into consideration

To be eligible for the UGC NET Exam you must secure at least 55% aggregate marks in postgraduation. You still have chances to appear in the exam by scoring good marks in final year of masters to fulfill the required eligibility criteria.

Of course, you are eligible for applying NET exam, BUT, in English Literature, NOT in previous subject.
