How to Make Correction in JEE Main Application Form?
Below, you may find the stepwise procedure to make the Correction in JEE Main Form. You can follow this procedure to make the required changes in your form.
Steps to be followed for JEE Main Correction Form 2020
Step 1 - Go to the official JEE mains website and click on the JEE Mains Application Form Correction Link (Link Closed).
Step 2 - Enter the Application Number and Password and log in your application form.
Step 3 - Now the application form will be opened on your computer screen. Check, if there are any mistakes and if found any change or replace them with the correct information.
Step 4 - Before submitting the form, again check and submit it.
Step 5 - Make payment of the required fees involved with JEE Main correction in the application form. The fees may vary depending on the limit of correction.
Note - All the candidates are advised to be cautious while making the corrections. After the final submission of the modified application form, no candidate will be allowed to make any further changes under any circumstances.
To Make the Correction in Photograph and Signature of Application Form
Step 1 - Go to the official website.
Step 2 - Click on the Remove Discrepancy in Uploaded Images.
Step 3 - Enter the Application Number and Password and log in your application form.
Step 4 - Now you can select and change it to the correct image or signature.
Step 5 - Scanned Photograph must be uploaded with the name and date of taking the photograph should be printed on it.
Note: The photograph uploaded by the candidates without Name and Date are accepted. The last date to make corrections in photograph and signature will fall in the month of October 2020.

Ans.) Yes, you can change your name in JEE Main Correction Form with the help of the facility provided by NTA. You must enter your name and particulars as per your school records and Aadhar Card.
At the same time take note that there is no discrepancy between the information provided to school and what you have entered in Aadhaar Card otherwise you may not be able to fill the form.
Ques.2) How can I make changes in the scanned photo and signature that I have uploaded while filling JEE Main Application Form? I uploaded my photograph without a name and date in the JEE Main Application Form. Is it necessary to correct it?
Ans.) Yes, it is necessary that the photograph should be coloured or black & white (but clear contrast) with the name of the candidate and date of taking the photograph printed on it. You must correctly upload your scanned photograph to complete the procedure of JEE Main Correction 2020.
Note: The photograph uploaded by the candidates without Name and Date are accepted.
Ques.3) Can I re-correct my JEE Main details in form? Can we make the correction in JEE Main Application Form now after the last date?

Ques.4) Can I give a fake 12th percentage in JEE Main Application Form?
Ans.) No, you can't give a fake 12th percentage because it is used for calculating the rank so never do that. However, if you have filled the fake percentage in the form then during the document verification, you will be in trouble. Your candidature will be canceled and you may face legal actions against you.
Ques.5) How can I correct my board roll no. in JEE Main Form? I entered wrong board roll number on the JEE Main Form. Will I be able to correct it later?
Ans.) Yes, NTA will give choice for editing the final roll number after releasing the JEE Main correction form.

Ques.6) I filled in the wrong name of school/college in my Mains form, and I have also lost the chance to correct it. Will this create problems for me?
Ans.) Don’t worry, school name doesn’t matter much. It is just for their information purpose but during JEE Main Counseling, you will have to explain them with a valid reason and your school should be recognized by the Associate of Indian Universities (AIU).
Ques.7) I Filled my mother 's full name in JEE Main form, not just first name. I have lost the chance to correct it. What should I do?
Ans.) There is no issue to fill your mother’s full name instead of her first name written on the form. So, relax and focus on your exams.
Ques.8) I have submitted my 12th board percentage wrong in JEE mains form and have lost the chance to correct it?
Ans.) Now, you must have a valid reason for giving the wrong details in the form and your marks must be above the eligibility line i.e. 75% for general and 70% for reserved category. During the counseling process, if your marks will enough for the admission then NTA will decide if your reason is valid or not.
Ques.9) While filling the application of the JEE Mains form, it is not accepting my school name and asks me to write the exact name of the school. I've checked and re-checked its name, but still, it's not accepting. What is the problem?
Ans.) JEE Main Application Form accepts only those School/Board/University Exam in India/Foreign Country which is recognized by the Associate of Indian Universities (AIU). You should immediately consult your school administration.
Ques.10) I have wrongly filled my father's monthly income in JEE Mains 2020 form. Can the mistake be corrected even the date of form correction had gone?
Ans.) You can’t change any information if JEE Main Correction Form Dates are over.
