JEE Mains Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria 2019
Eligibility Criteria for JEE Mains Paper 2 & Paper 1 is same. The qualification criteria to appear in the JEE Mains exam 2019 is:
12th Class/Equivalent Exam Passed Out Candidates in the year 2017 or 2018. Candidate must have passed the exam in desired 5 subjects including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
12th Class/Equivalent Exam Appearing Candidates in 2019.
The candidates must have scored more than 75% marks after the declaration of their CBSE Class 12th Result 2019.
Diploma Holders who have already passed or are in their final year of pursuing Degree.

As the JEE Paper 2 was in Offline mode, the exam was conducted on 8th April from 14:00 to 17:00 hours. On the examination day the JEE Mains Paper -2 booklets was distributed at right 13:50 hours. After reading the instructions carefully the candidates were allowed to break the seal at 13:55 hours. The entry to the examination was closed at 14:00 hours.
JEE Mains paper 2 Exam Pattern 2019
JEE Mains Paper consists of two papers – paper 1 & 2. Both the papers have a different paper pattern.
Paper 1 has three subjects namely: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. There are overall 90 questions. Exam duration is 3 hours.
Paper 2 has three sections called – Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing test. Exam duration for paper 2 is 3 hours. There are total 82 questions in the paper.

JEE Mains Paper 2 Analysis 2018
Paper 2 contains 3 parts. Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing Test. Total of 82 questions were asked in the JEE Main 2018 Paper 2, which carried 390 marks.
As per the JEE students reviews, the Aptitude section was manageable while the mathematics section was a bit lengthy.
Each correct answer will give 4 marks and ¼ mark for that question will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
There were 2 drawing questions containing total 70 marks.
Mathematics section was the lengthiest among all the three sections. The Standard of paper was high. While for those who know the tricks, questions were not difficult for them. The questions were completely from the Syllabus.
The exam pattern in Aptitude was same as previous year. The Questions were tricky, some questions like counting surfaces or counting shapes were removed and in place of these questions, some more easy questions were added. The GK part of aptitude was manageable.
Drawing section of the JEE Main Paper 2 was length and difficult. In Question- 1A, applicants were free to draw in any way (Using any number of shapes, any alignment).
