Eligibility Criteria for JEE Mains Paper 2 & Paper 1 is same. The qualification criteria to appear in the JEE Mains exam 2020 is:
12th Class/Equivalent Exam Passed Out Candidates in the year 2018 or 2019. Candidate must have passed the exam in desired 5 subjects including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
12th Class/Equivalent Exam Appearing Candidates in 2020.
As per the latest notification, the candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate in their CBSE Class 12th Result.
Diploma Holders who have already passed or are in their final year of pursuing Degree.
Important Note – Aspirants who cleared the Class 12th/Qualifying Exam in 2017 or before as well as those who appear in such exam in 2021 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE Main 2020.

JEE Mains Paper 2 Exam has successfully been conducted on 07th April 2019. Paper 2 was conducted in two phases: Phase I (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and Phase II (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM).
The exam contains 3 sections: Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing Test. Total of 83 questions were asked in the JEE Main 2019 Paper 2, which carried 390 marks.
As per the JEE students reviews, the Mathematics Section was the toughest one while the Aptitude section was a bit tricky. This year 3 Questions were asked in the Drawing section.
Each correct answer will give 4 marks and ¼ mark for that question will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Mathematics section was the toughest among all the three sections. Most of the questions were from Calculus. Questions asked in this section were completely different from the January Exam.
There were mixed reactions from the students. Some said this section was difficult and some concluded that the paper was as expected.
The difficulty level of the exam was Easy. The Questions were tricky. 10-15 questions were asked on GK and location of places with architectural importance.
This section consists of 50 questions carrying 4 marks each. The Aptitude section was the easiest among all as per the student’s reactions.
Drawing section of the JEE Main Paper 2 was lengthy but was easy. The Drawing section consists of 3 Questions carrying a total of 70 marks. The first question of this section was of 30 marks while the other two questions were carrying weightage of 20 marks each.
In the first questions, the students were tested with their creativity and imagination. They were asked to make something out of a cube.
The second Question was quite complicated, a flower was given and the students had to draw a replica of it.
In the last Question of Drawing section, students had to draw a rear view of the professor teaching a class of students.
