From 2019 onward, the JEE Main Exam will be conducted twice a year. The exam will be conducted from 6th to 20th January 2019 and from 6th to 20th April 2019 by National Testing Agency, which organizes IIT JEE Exam.

To appear in JEE Advanced 2019, the candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in JEE Mains Exam. The JEE Mains Rank List 2019 displays the eligibility condition of candidates who will qualify for JEE Advanced 2019.


The Mains Rank Card 2019 will be prepared from the score obtained in the JEE Mains Exam 2019. The admission to various IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs etc., will be done based on the JEE Mains All India Rank obtained by the candidate.




How to download JEE Mains 2019 Rank Card



Below are the steps, the candidates need to follow to download JEE Mains 2019 Rank List for Paper 1 and 2.


1. Firstly, visit “Result Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2019 – With Rank” (Will be Activated Soon)


2. Enter your JEE Mains Roll Number and Date of Birth.


3. After entering the details correctly, click on the Submit button.


4. The JEE Mains 2019 Rank will be displayed on your screen.


5. Take the print out for future reference.




Key Points of JEE Main 2019 Rank Card / Rank List



Below we have mentioned some key points related to JEE Mains 2019 Rank Card. Look at the details.


Based on the Mains Rank List 2019, the candidates will be selected for the admission to various B.E./ B. Tech programmes which are offered by 31 NITs, 20 IITs and 18 GFTIs.


 The JEE Mains 2019 Rank List of Paper 1 will be published along with the declaration of JEE Mains 2019 Result.


 While calculating JEE Main Rank 2019, no weightage is given to the class 12th marks, which was considered up to last years.


 Candidates must secure at least 75% marks in or be in top 20 percentile in the class 12th exam conducted by the respective board to get admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs. Etc.




Preparation Procedure of JEE Mains Rank List 2019



JEE Mains 2019 Rank List will be prepared in the following manner.


 A total of eight JEE Mains Rank List each for paper 1 and Paper 2 will be prepared based on the performance of candidates in the respective exams.


 The JEE Main rank card 2019 will be prepared category wise. The previous year JEE Main Rank List for the following category is mentioned below.

JEE Mains Rank List 2019 for Admission to B.E./ B.Tech- Tie Breaking Method



The Officials have declared some rules for admissions in institutions other than IITs. These are mentioned below:


 The candidate who secures higher marks in Mathematics and Physics will be given better rank.


  The ratio of the positive and negative marks secured by candidates in JEE Mains 2019 will be considered.




JEE Mains Rank List for Admission to B.Arch. / B Planning



The following criteria have been set for the Paper 2 of the JEE Mains 2019.


 Candidates having better marks in Aptitude Test will be given higher rank.


 If the tie doesn’t break, then the candidates obtaining higher marks in Drawing will be given better rank.


 The ratio of the positive and negative marks secured by candidates in JEE Mains Paper 2, will be considered.


 If still there is a tie, then similar ranks will be allotted to the candidates.
