SSC Junior Hindi Translator eligibility criterion is divided into 3 factors-

For General Category, the maximum age limit to appear in the SSC Junior Hindi Translator is 30 years as of 1st January 2022.

SSC JHT Educational Qualification is divided into four parts. Candidates must possess any one of them to fulfil the academic qualification criterion. You can check it below:
Candidate must have qualified the post-graduation in Hindi with English as a compulsory subject or optional subject or the exam mode must be English medium.
or
Candidate must have qualified the post-graduation in English with Hindi as a compulsory subject or optional subject or the exam mode must be Hindi medium.
or
Candidate must have qualified the post-graduation in any subject from Hindi medium and must have English subject as a compulsory or optional or as an exam mode.
or
Candidate must have qualified the post-graduation in any subject from English medium and must have Hindi subject as a compulsory or optional or as an exam mode.
AND
Candidate must have possessed any one of the following conditions:
Having a diploma or certificate course in Hindi to English translation or English to Hindi translation.
or
Having two years’ experience of translation work in Central or State Government or PSU.
To appear in the SSC Junior Hindi Translator, a candidate must fulfil any of the citizenship from the following list:
Citizen of India
Citizen of Nepal
Citizen of Bhutan
Tibetan refugee who permanently settled in India, before 1st January 1962.
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Note: Candidate must have an Indian citizenship certificate or ID proof issued by the Indian Government.
Before filling the Online Application Form, candidates must fulfil the SSC JHT eligibility criteria.
The eligible candidates can fill out their forms from the official website of the SSC. It’s expected that the commission will start the upcoming SSC JHT Online Application Procedure from 28th August 2022 to 28th September 2022.
For filling the SSC JHT exam form, interested candidates have to endure some steps:

Fill all the required field.
Complete the form by clicking on “I agree”.
Preview and verify all your details and submit your application form.
Proceed to make payment. fee can be paid through SBI Challan or SBI Net banking and Submit it.
Take a print-out of SSC JHT Application form.
Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC JHT in two phase –
Paper 1 and Paper 2. Exam pattern will help you out to get an outline of the exam. So, that you can prepare well for your exam.
You will be eligible to appear in Paper-2 only when you will qualify Paper 1.

For every wrong answer, you will lose 0.25 marks only in Paper-1.
There is no negative marking in Paper-2.

SSC JHT Paper-2 is a descriptive type of paper which is designed to examine the translative ability of the candidates. Paper-2 consists of an Essay each in Hindi and English and there will be two passages for translation. One passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage from English to Hindi.
As per the Staff Selection Commission norms, candidates can download the SSC JHT Admit Card only from the official website of the SSC.
Admit Card is the essential document for the SSC JHT exam. You are required to bring it on your exam day.
SSC will issue the JHT Admit Card separately for both Papers.
