IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2017 [Updated]

 

As per the New IBPS Clerk exam Pattern, the exam follows two-tier pattern – Preliminary and Mains. Both the exams are conducted separately and contains different paper pattern. To understand it completely, please check below-

 

 

IBPS Clerk Pattern for Prelims Exam

 

The exam pattern for the IBPS Clerk Prelims 2017 has no major changes. Check the table below for section-wise breakage of the Clerk prelims exam. Candidates appearing in the IBPS Clerk exam 2017 are supposed to clear sectional & overall cutoff for these three sections.

IBPS Clerk Main Paper Pattern

 

IBPS Clerk Main Paper Pattern has been changed significantly. In 2017, there will be following changes in the updated exam pattern:

 

1.  There will be only 4 sections in IBPS Clerk Mains Exam. Computers knowledge & Reasoning are no longer separate sections. Instead, these will be considered as a single section namely –

 

2. The marking weightage of these 4 sections is updated.

 

3. Paper Duration for IBPS Clerk 2017 Mains Exam is extended to 160 minutes. Earlier it was 135 minutes.

      The Prelims & Mains are conducted separately on different days. IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam will be conducted on one of the following dates: 2nd Dec, 3rd Dec, 9th Dec, 10th Dec 2017.

      From 2017, Reasoning & computers will be considered single section in Mains exam. There is no separate cutoff for these two. However, in Prelims Reasoning is a separate section with Quantitative & English sections.
