Answer: The exam will be conducted in online mode only i.e. Computer Based Test.
Question 4: How many times a student can appear in JEE Main Exam in one year?
Answer: According to the new rules set by the new exam conducting body (NTA), you can appear in JEE Main Exam twice a year.
Question 5: How can I apply for the JEE Main Exam?

Question 6: Will the JEE Main Exam be tougher from 2019 as the exam conducting body has been changed to National Testing Agency (NTA)?
Answer: No, that will not be the case. The JEE Main Syllabus and JEE Main Exam Pattern will be the same as they were earlier.
Question 7: For JEE Main Exam, whether the photograph without name and date of the photograph is accepted?
Answer: If a candidate accidentally uploaded the photograph without date and time, then his/her photograph will be accepted.

Question 9. Can I use the calculator in the JEE Main Exam?
Answer: No, you are not allowed to bring the physical calculator in the exam hall. You will be provided with a virtual calculator during the exam.
Question 10: Do I need to appear in the JEE Main Exam twice? If I appeared twice then, which score will be considered?
Answer: It’s not necessary to appear in the JEE Main Exam twice. If you appeared in the exam twice then, the best score will be considered.
Question 11: How many subjects one must have in 12th Board exam for appearing in JEE Main Exam?
Answer: You must have at least 5 subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, best of two optional subjects) in Class 12th if you want to be eligible for the JEE Main Exam.
Question 12: In how many cities does the JEE Main Exam is conducted?

Question 17: Is Aadhar Card mandatory for JEE Main Exam?
Answer: No, Aadhar card is not mandatory for JEE Main Exam. You can use any of your IDs like Passport, voter ID, ration card etc.
Question 18: What If I forget my JEE Main Application No./Password?
Answer: No worries. You can reset your password through the security question and answer chosen during the application process. After this, a reset link will be sent on your registered email ID or the verification code will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Question 19: Is it compulsory to appear in the JEE Main Paper 2 Exam?
Answer: No, it’s not. If you want to purse the B.Arch. and B.Planning courses then, you have to appear in the JEE Main Paper 2 Exam.
