As per the SSC CGL Tier – III Exam Pattern, the paper is of the descriptive type which consists of three sections – Precise Writing, Essay Writing and Letter Writing.

 

The candidates need to attempt all the questions in 60 Minutes. The highest scoring marks for this paper is 100.

Ques 1: How many questions were asked in the SSC CGL Tier 3 Exam Paper?

 

Answer: There were total 2 questions to be solved in the given time limit i.e. 60 mins. There was no choice for the candidates, they had to solve both the questions to get a good score in the exam.

 

 

 

Ques 2: Which type of questions were there in SSC CGL Tier 3 Exam? Can you name the topics?

 

Answer: There were 2 questions from Essay Writing & Letter Writing Sections in the SSC CGL Tier 3 Exam Paper which was conducted on 19th March 2017.

 

 

Essay Writing –

 

Topic: In the event of an earthquake, what you should do, what you should not!

 

Marks: 50

 

Word Limit: 250

 

 

Letter Writing –

 

Topic: Considering yourself Narendra/Seema, write a letter to your brother Suresh explaining the present advantage of computer-based exams and what will be the future shortfall of it.

 

Marks: 50

 

Word Limit: 150

 

 

Though Essay Writing topic was quite shocking as many of the aspirants were expecting it to be from SSC General Knowledge or Government Policies Section. But the Exam Setters have turned it towards completely a different aspect.

 

 

 

Ques 3: How would you rate the difficulty level of the SSC CGL Tier – III Exam 2016? Kindly Share your SSC CGL Exam Analysis with us.

 

Answer: The descriptive paper remains easier than any other selection phase of the SSC CGL Exam. The SSC CGL Tier-3 2016 Exam was easier and scoring this time.

Answer: Yes, of course! 60 mins are sufficient to attempt these questions. I hardly took 45 minutes to complete the paper.

Answer: Cutoffs will be decided by the exam convener body i.e. SSC but as per my SSC CGL 2016 analysis and reviews, I think 65% students will Score in the range of 50–60.
