SSC CGL Exam Analysis - Question & Answers


As per the SSC CGL Tier - I Exam Pattern, the paper is of the objective type, which consists of four sections - General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.


The candidates need to attempt all the questions in 60 Minutes. The highest scoring marks for this paper is 200.

Ques 1: How many questions were asked in the SSC CGL Tier 1 2018-19 Exam Paper?


Answer: There were total 100 questions to be solved in the given time limit i.e. 60 mins.

Answer: The Tier 1 paper of SSC CGL 2018-19 remained moderate. The difficulty level for all sections are as given below:

Ques 4: Were you able to attempt the questions within the given time limit?


Answer: No, you cannot attempt all the questions that are asked in the exam. The reason is all the sections are important and some of the questions are time consuming. We should not spend our complete time on solving the lengthy questions.


We should also take care about the negative marking. So, please attempt only those questions in which you are 100% sure about the accuracy.

Answer: Cutoffs will be decided by the exam convener body i.e. SSC but as per my SSC CGL 2018-19 analysis and reviews, I am providing you the expected cut offs for SSC CGL 2018-19 Tier 1 Paper -
