IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2022

 

IBPS Clerk is not that tough task to get recruited in a bank. But the candidates have to go through four phases. Below are all the stages of IBPS Selection Process for Clerk:

Preliminary Exam

Mains Exam

Language Proficiency Test

Provisional Allotment & Document Verification.

Candidates have to clear all these four stages to get recruited as a Clerk. No interview will be conducted in the IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2022.

Stage 1- Preliminary Exam

 

This is the very first phase of the IBPS Clerk 2022 Selection Process. To appear in this exam candidates have to first satisfy the complete IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria.

After that, they have to fill in the IBPS Clerk Online Application Form that will make them book their seat for the exam.

Here are the complete details of the Preliminary Exam:

It consists of three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability.

This exam will be conducted online and consists of Objective Type Questions.

Total 100 questions will be asked which carry 100 marks.

Total time duration given to the candidates will be 1 hour.

For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Candidates must score more than the minimum cut-off marks to be eligible for the next recruitment step.

Stage 2 - Main Exam

 

After qualifying the IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam, candidates have to appear in the Main Exam. Here is the detailed IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern for Mains Exam:

Mains Exam consists of 4 sections: General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude.

Questions asked will be Objective Type and will be conducted online.

Total weightage of the exam will be 200 marks for 190 questions.

Total 160 minutes will be given to the candidates.

0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

If you want to clear this stage then, you have to score more than the minimum IBPS Clerk Cut-Off Marks. After qualifying this stage of IBPS Clerk Selection process, you will be eligible for the next stage.

Stage 3 – Language Proficiency Test

 

Now, this is the stage where most of the candidates faced problems. The candidates will be tested how proficient a candidate is in their local language.

The candidates will be given the choice to fill the language they know. Based on the language selection of candidates, the participating organizations will take a Language Proficiency Test.

It will test how well a candidate will be able to read, write and speak the local language they selected.

If the candidates failed to qualify this test, then the participating organizations can cancel their candidature.

 

 

Stage 4 – Provisional Allotment and Document Verification

 

After clearing the Language Proficiency Test, candidates are just one step away for becoming a Clerk in a Public-Sector Bank.

This is the last phase of the IBPS Clerk 2022 Selection Process. Candidates will be provisionally selected on the basis of the final merit list released by the IBPS, preference set by the candidates and proficiency in the local language.

After getting recruited in a bank, most of the candidates often asked for the documents that are required at the time of verification.

So, here is the list of all the documents that are required by the banks:

Aadhar card/ Driver’s License, Voter's ID/ Passport, etc.

PAN Card.

Class 10th & 12th Mark Sheets.

All Mark Sheets of UG & PG Degree.

Degree of Graduation.

Birth Certificate.

2 Passport Size Photographs.

Character Certificate.

Medical Fitness Certificate.

Resignation Letter from Previous Organization (if any).

Category/Caste Certificate.

These all are the documents that are required in the final stage of the IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2022. The documents will be verified by the Bank Officials.
