JEE Advanced 2020 Application Form Significance

 

As soon as Mains Results are declared, the board releases JEE Advance Form, so that the candidates can take the next step for getting admissions into Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Only mains qualified candidates become fit into the JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria and can fill JEE Advanced application form 2020.

 

The JEE Advanced Form process will start for Foreign Nationals and for JEE Main Qualifiers soon. The detailed schedule can be read in the below-given table.

 

NoteStudents from 6 countries ( Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Singapore, The UAE and Ethiopia) can directly appear for IIT JEE Advanced, skipping the IIT JEE Mains.

Prerequisites for filling JEE Advanced Application Form 2020

 

When you start filling JEE Advanced 2020 Application Form, you will feel the necessity of few documents and item to be uploaded. To help you avoid mistake/errors, we are here providing the list of things that you must keep aside while applying for the Advanced exam.

 

Read the detailed list of documents and items and make sure you find them at the time of JEE Advance form fill up.

 

You must get your Roll Number and Password that will be generated after JEE Mains Application Process 2020.

Note: -Your personal, academic and contact details will automatically appear on the screen that you entered at the time of mains registration.

 You must have a valid and active contact number/ Email ID.

 Choices of the medium of the exam, JEE Advanced Exam Centre and the number of attempts.

 Your Passport sized coloured photograph.

 Your valid signatures on blank white paper.

 Date of birth as mentioned in 10th marksheet.

Note: - Make sure you have entered the same DOB in mains form.

 Your class 10th and 12th marksheet to write down the marks.

 

If you are expecting reservation as per Reserved Quota, you may need the following documents: -

 

 OBC-NCL certificate (FORM-OBC-NCL) issued on or after 1st April 2020, in confirmation with the latest guidelines of the Government of India.

Note: - In case you are unable to collect the OBC-NCL certificate, you may submit the declaration for the same.

 Caste Certificate for ST/SC quota.

 Physical Disability Certificate (Form-PWD II/III/IV) issued by the notified medical authority. (for PWD candidates).

 If you are in need of Scribe, you must provide a request letter to the Chairman of the respective zonal coordinating IIT (Form-Scribe).

 Other certificates for GD Category, PIO card or OCI certificate etc.

JEE Advanced Registration Process 2020 - Guidelines to Fill Online Form

 

To help you in filling JEE Advanced 2020 Application Form, we are here listing out step by step process. You must follow them in order to successfully submit your form.

 

The online application process can be divided into the following moves: -

 

A: Login and fill details in JEE Advance form

B: Uploading Photos and Signature

C: Application Fee Payment and Printing Application Form

 

 

A: Login to Official Website and Fill Valid Details

 

Step 1: In the first step, you have to visit the official website of JEE Advanced. You will see a login window.

Step 2: Now, enter your Mains roll number and password. Enter the security pin and submit it.

Step 3: Choose a new password for JEE Advanced Registration.

Step 4: You can see a fresh page showing your complete details that you have entered while applying for Mains exam.

Step 5: Now enter the number of attempts, preferences for 3 examination centers.

Step 6: Fill your category and scribe status.

Step 7: Now, once more you should check the details you have filled in JEE Advanced Application and submit it.

Step 8: After submitting you will be redirected to next process of uploading Photo and Signature.

 

 

B: Upload Scanned Images (Photo and Signature)

 

Step 1: Click on “Upload Images”.

Step 2: Upload your scanned photo and signature.

Step 3: Check if the images are uploaded correctly, then finally submit it.

Step 4: As soon as you click on submit after image uploading, you will be redirected to JEE Advanced application form fee payment section.

 

 

C: Online Registration Fee Payment

 

Step 1: You will have 2 options to make payment of JEE Advanced application form 2020 fee.

Step 2: You can make payment by credit card or SBI net banking.

Step 3: Now, click on “Pay Registration Fee” and you will see Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page on the screen.

Step 4: To make payment of JEE Advanced 2020 application form fee, enter your payment mode and payment details carefully.

Note: - Those candidates, who are making payment for exam centers out of India should make payment by using International debit/credit cards.

Step 5: After successful payment, you will get JEE Advanced Registration Number.

Step 6: You should take print out of your JEE Advanced application form.

Step 7: If you are paying via offline mode, click on “Pay Registration fee” and take the print out of SBI E-challan.

Step 8: Now, you have to deposit the E-challan with JEE Advance form fee by visiting any SBI Branch.

 

Note: - You must save the JEE Advanced Registration Number and Password for further processes like JEE Advanced Admit Card Download and JEE Advanced Counselling.
