AMCAT Test Pattern
AMCAT is a multi-dimensional test with the Aptitude (consisting of English, Quantitative Ability and Logical Ability) and AMPI: Aspiring Minds Personality Inventory modules which is being compulsory in job sectors.
Time Duration – 2.5 Hours
The skill specific modules vary from Computer Programming, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Accounts, Marketing, Human Resources, Financial Services, etc. Candidates can choose the skill modules based on his/her education and/or interest.
There are 3 compulsory modules in Test –English Comprehension Quantitative Ability Logical Ability
Each consists of 900 marks.
Apart from these modules, aspirants have to choose an optional module of their subject choices.
Optional Modules are –Computer Literacy Computer Programming Principles and Applications Electronics and Semiconductors Civil Engineering Mechanical Finance

An adaptive test gets harder and easier based on the answer given to the previous question.
If you answer a question correct, you get a tougher question and if you answer a question wrong the next question becomes easier. This allows the test to measure the exact ability of the test taker in the subject being tested. The score of the candidate depends on the level of questions he or she attempts correctly.

Application Fee – The candidates are required to pay INR 700/- or above to appear in exam.

AMCAT Scores and Results
The score of the test including a Nation-wide percentile are available instantaneously. However to maintain high-standards, we do a re-check and the scores are delivered within 7 days of conduct of AMCAT.
Each student gets a personalized score sheet with detailed scores and percentiles, additionally textual feedback on strengths, weaknesses and where to improve. The institute is also provided with a consolidated result with analysis and intervention tips.
In order to get qualified the students are required to get at least 60% in the exam. The score of 85% or above is considered as a good score.
