CAT 2014 Exam Result is Expected to be Declared Next Week

Good news for CAT 2014 Aspirants!

CAT 2014 Result is going to be declared in next week. IIM Indore conducted exam this year in the month of November. As Dr. Rohit Kapoor (Faculty of IIM Indore and CAT 2014 Chairman) said that “We are in the activity of processing the results. Final checks are also underway.”, the result will be available very soon on the official website of CAT 2014 (https://iimcat.ac.in).

CAT qualified students will get the chance to take admission in IIM’s.

CAT 2014 Analysis

The overall feedback says that CAT 2014 was simpler than last year.

As per the observations, In Section-I Quantitative Aptitude Questions was quite easy in comparison to Data Interpretation and In Section-II Verbal Ability Questions are reported to be simpler than Logical Reasoning Questions.

Question Selection is going to play a big role in deciding Cut-Offs.

Admission Process after qualifying CAT 2014

Performance in CAT 2014 examination is an important component in the Admission Process.

List of shortlisted candidates for the next level of selection will be made available on the individual IIM websites. Each IIM will send interview letters to the short listed candidates directly. The criteria for short-listing vary from IIM to IIM.

The Admission in IIM’s process may include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). IIMs may use previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process.
