In accordance with the official statement, the CBSE UGC NET Exam for Srinagar will be held on 28th August 2016.

According to the data collected by various internet resources, around 10,000 students were registered for UGC NET July 2016. And the exam was going to be held at 16 examination centers in Srinagar.

Now, all those 10,255 aspirants will have to appear on the new exam date i.e. 28th August 2016 (released officially).

 

UGC NET Exam Postponed: Know the Reason behind it!

 

The main reason behind this delay was the curfew which was imposed following protests over the killing of terror group Hizbul Mujahideen poster boy Burhan Wani in a police encounter. All the mobile networks and telephonic services were also suspended in many regions of Kashmir during July 2016.

Now, the curfew ban is removed and things are getting normal, so the candidates can freely appear in the exam and fulfill their goals of achieving UGC NET qualification. Know the cut off marks declaration procedure to plan up a smart strategy to attempt the question paper.

 

Tip: As only a week remaining for the exam, so candidates can refine their practices by taking online mock test papers or join test series online.
