Google now expands its wings to Technical Education in India, launches courses in Android Nanodegree

Google-Brings-Android-degree-courseWorld’s number 1 Search Engine Google has partnered with massive open online courses (MOOCs) provider Udacity and Tata Trusts to launch Online Android Nanodegree Programs in India.

For these courses, Students will be taught by Google’s expert instructors from the Google Developer Relations team and the training will also include project reviews, mentorship and career services from Udacity.

The training fee for these courses will be INR 9,800/- per month and the complete course will be completed in 6-9 months.

Student’s Benefits of Training

The students who graduate from the course, will get 50% of the tuition fee refunded.

At successful completion of program, Students will receive a certificate that will help them to become a more marketable Android developer.

The three partners will also offer 1,000 scholarships for the Android Developer Nanodegree program.

The students who graduate from this program will be invited to a career summit in which they will have exposure and networking opportunities with prospective employers.

Country’s Benefits from Android Nanodegree Programs

This program will pay its contribution to develop smartphone adoption of country which is not as big as that of the US and China.

India will overtake the United States as the second largest smartphone market globally, by 2017.

This will not only help budding developers ply their craft, but will also help grow Android’s market share as there will be local developers catering to local demand.
