Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft which is one of the biggest software companies met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Communication and IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Dec 26, 2014 in Delhi.
Nadella himself belongs to India and wants to build a partnership with ‘Digital India’ and ‘Make in India’ programs for government.
After meeting with Prime Minister Modi and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, Nadella said “It’s always fantastic for me personally to be in India and the conversation I had with the minister was wide ranging” he continued by saying “I have an aspiration that in this mobile and cloud world, we can empower every individual citizen of India and every business organization and institution in India to be able to try with new technology. So, I am looking forward to be a part of both the Digital India and Make in India”
The main purpose of this meeting was to empower such organizations in India which can be stand as world class with the access to great technology. Ravi Shankar Prasad requested Nadella to consider electronic manufacturing in India as Microsoft has a great profile in social and digital literacy.
Nadella seems willingly to invest in these two programs ‘Digital India’ and ‘Make in India’ as he also said “In every meeting of course both ‘Digital India’ and ‘Make in India’ are top of mind and for us, top of mind in terms of our contribution to India”
