SSC Recruitment for 2902 Posts | Apply before 28th April, 2015

SSC RecruitmentStaff Selection Commission has released recruitment notification for 2902 posts of Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub Inspector. The candidates who are interested in this job may apply before 28th April as per the recruitment advertisement.

Job Details

Sub-Inspector in CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces) – INR 9300-34800 + GP 4200

Sub Inspector (Executive-Male) in Delhi Police – INR 9300-34800 + GP 4200

Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF – INR 5200-20200 + GP 2800.

Location – Delhi.

Total Vacancies – 2902.

Eligibility Criteria


The applying candidates must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limit

The candidates applying for the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF must be in between 20-25 years of age.

Educational Qualification

The candidates must have done their bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute.

Selection Criteria

As per the SSC rules, the candidates will have to appear in a written exam and also in PI round. The shortlisting will also be done on the basis of their performance in both the rounds.

Test Pattern

Paper -I (will be held on 21st June, 2015)

Time Duration – 2 Hours

Sections – 4 (General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension)

Total Questions – 50 Questions in each section.

Total Marks – 50 Marks in each section.

Paper-II (will be held on 21st June, 2015)

Section – English language & Comprehension

Time Duration – 2 Hours

Total Questions – 200 Questions.

Total Marks – 200 Marks.
