Sir, Will we be evaluated only on Professional Knowledge Marks for final selection. Is there any relevance of Reasoning, Quant, English marks more than their sectional cutoff. Will they help in final selection or become void after sectional cutoff. Please tell the expected Safe Cutoff in each section for ensuring final selection.

    Eduncle Team @Eduncle
Hello Abhishek, Greetings from Eduncle! Yes, there is surely relevance of Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English and General Awareness Sections. Though the marks scored in these sections won't be considered for shortlisting the candidates for the next stage i.e. the Interview Stage. But these marks need to be prepared with proper attention and should be attempted keeping in view the limitations of negative marking. They are equally important as Professional Knowledge Subject. The only difference is that only Professional Knowledge Subject will be evaluated and the marks scored in this section would be important for shortlisting. Hope the above information helps and clears your doubts. Kind Regards, Eduncle Team

Hello PremKumar, Greetings from Eduncle! IBPS SO 2017 Exam has experienced a change in the exam pattern with all other subjects i.e English Language, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness being of Qualifying Nature. The marks obtained in each of these sections would be required to qualify the individual section and not form the basis of getting short-listed for the Interviews. For Professional Knowledge you can expect the cut-offs to be within 22-28. Kind Regards, Eduncle Team
