 This year IBPS SO Prelims was of Moderate level.

 Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude were calculative.

 The level of English Section was Easy to Moderate.

 Reasoning Ability and English Language sections were common for all posts of IBPS SO Prelims Exam 2019.

 For the posts of Rajbhasha Adhikari and Law Officer, the third section was General Awareness.

IBPS SO Prelims Analysis – Quantitative Aptitude (AFO, Marketing Officer, HR & IT)

 

The overall IBPS Quantitative Aptitude section was of Moderate level. 4 sets of DI (Tabular, Line, Pie Chart, Caselets) were asked in prelims exam. Below mentioned topics are asked in the exam.

The level of IBPS English section was Easy to Moderate in comparison with the rest of the exam. The maximum questions were asked from reading comprehension in the paper.

There were 2 sets of reading Comprehension, one was on Entrepreneurship and the other one was on wildlife. In Rajbhasha Adhikari there was only one Reading Comprehension.

There were 5 sets of DI (Tabular, Tabular [Percentage Based], Bar Graph, Double Pie Chart, Caselet) were asked in prelims exam. 50% of the questions in this section were asked from Data Interpretation. The difficulty level of this section was Moderate.

 

 

 

Prelims Analysis of IBPS SO – English Language

 

In this section, 20 questions were asked from the Reading Comprehension i.e. 2 sets were there, one was based on the agetation amongst Americans as Huawai is said to be bringing the 5G Technology in America and the other passage was related to banking- medium and small enterprises. The level of the questions asked in this section was Easy to Moderate.

 

 

 

IBPS Specialist Officer Prelims Analysis – Reasoning Ability

 

In this section more than 50% of the questions were asked from Puzzles & Seating Arrangement. The overall difficulty was Moderate and was a bit lengthy.
